CLEVELAND — For those wondering what to do with their old boxes of toys and memorabilia that are just sitting and collecting dust, “Pawn Stars” expert Joel Magee might be able to help.
Magee made his appearance on the latest season of the show “Pawn Stars” as the show’s Disney expert. He has spent the past 20 years traveling the nation buying and selling vintage toys, and is now the host of the new show “The Toy Scout.”
The Cleveland Vintage Toy Buying Shows will feature Magee as the host.
The event, held at Courtyard Cleveland Independence, runs from June 2 to June 5.
Magee will offer on-the-spot payments for popular toys from the 20th century and earlier to those in attendance.
Toys that people tend to bring to these types of shows include Pez dispensers, Star Wars and Beatles memorabilia, superhero figurines, baseball cards, 1940-60s comic books, as well as Shirley Temple dolls, Hot Wheels and Hummel figurines, Magee said.
The show runs each day from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
