WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY thru 8 am Saturday morning for Lake, Geauga, & Ashtabula County. Expect a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain with snowfall up to 3 inches with a light coating of ice.
Low pressure will slide across Ohio tonight, spreading a mix of rain, sleet, freezing rain and snow into the region. As temperatures drop overnight, any rain changes to a wintry mix and then to snow. Bridges may get slick overnight/early Saturday with minor snow and ice accumulations accumulations. Icy patches will be possible due to freezing rain. Be careful on the roads! Most of us see a light dusting of snow to about 1" by sunrise. A few spots in the Advisory area could see 2 or 3 inches of snowfall along with a light coating of ice.
By mid-morning Saturday, we'll all dry out. Skies should clear out during the afternoon. It will be cold & breezy with highs in the 30s. Temps moderate slightly on Sunday, but we remain below average until Monday. That's when temps soar into the 60s!
