CLEVLEAND — The highest threat for damaging storms is well outside of Ohio, but that doesn't mean we can let our guard down. After a round of morning thundershowers, we have an even better shot at stronger storms. The severe storm threat is limited but we can't rule it out.

Plan on thunderstorms building this afternoon, which should start around 2 p.m. across the state. Our biggest threat will be "training t-storms" leading to flooding. We still can't rule out damaging wind or hail from the strongest storms, though.

Again, plan for the worst, hope for the best.

By the weekend, we get the best. Lower humidity, tons of sunshine and zero rain chances after we dry out early Saturday.
