A Marina Warning has been issued for three counties in Northeast Ohio due to high winds and waterspouts on the lake.
The warning was issued for Lake, Lorain and Cuyahoga counties until 1:15 p.m.
According to the National Weather Service, around 11:37 a.m. rain producing waterspouts was located near Avon Point and was moving east around 20 knots.
The NWS said waterspouts can create hazardous seas and small watercraft could be damaged or overturned by high winds and high waves.
Anyone on the lake in the affected areas is asked to seek safe harbor immediately.
