UPDATE: As of 10:15 a.m. the number has shrunk to just over 600 customers.
More than 10,000 FirstEnergy customers are without power in Northeast Ohio, according to the company's power outage map.
The map shows more than 5,000 of those customers are in Cuyahoga County.
