CLEVELAND — We’re kicking off the morning with some isolated showers and rumbles of thunder, with the heat making a return for most of the area.
Don’t forget to grab your umbrella this morning for the occasional bursts of rain.

By midday, the rain will move out of the area and the heat will return with those inland expected to see another scorcher in the 80s and those lakeside, will see temperatures linger in the mid-80s.
Less than half of us needing the wipers this morning... different story tomorrow, We're bumping that up to "Scattered" with most of us getting rain, possibly strong storms. #WEWS #OHwx #GMCle pic.twitter.com/XBQ7M4dtaS

Wednesday's storms will be stronger and impact more of us. Plan on two rounds. One early and one again in the afternoon. Each round could have damaging storms.
Things settle down Thursday and into the weekend as intense heat builds back into Ohio.
