HARPERSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A woman walking along the road in Harpersfield Township Sunday morning was struck by a passing vehicle, according to the Ashtabula Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The woman, later identified as 47-year-old Rhonda Beduhn of Geneva, was walking on the west side of state Route 534 when she was struck by a vehicle, troopers said.
The vehicle that struck Beduhn then left the scene, according to troopers.
Troopers said that Beduhn was wearing dark clothing.
The vehicle involved is unknown and the incident remains under investigation.
