The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced the 2018 inductees Wednesday morning.
The five inductees are:
- Bon Jovi
- The Cars
- Dire Straits
- The Moody Blues
- Nina Simone
Dire Straits, The Moody Blues, Nina Simone and Sister Rosetta Tharpe were on the ballot for the first time.
Sister Rosetta Tharpe received an award for early influence.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will host the induction ceremony at the Public Auditorium on April 14, 2018.
