From the holiday indoor markets such as the Cleveland Flea and Once Upon a Christmas Show to an upscale scotch tasting in Cleveland's century-old bank vaults and a snow day bar crawl, Cleveland is taking advantage of the upcoming holiday season with festive events and cold weather activities.

Cleveland November Flea

The Cleveland Flea is moving indoors for the winter and with that, they are bringing local vendors together to offer a complete holiday spread of local products that make great gifts. Every day of the November Flea is a little bit different so check out what makes each day special here. Buy your tickets because they sell out fast!

  • Saturday, November 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ( $10, free after 2 p.m.)
  • Sunday, November 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (free all day)

Walkabout Tremont—Light Up your Holidays

Get a jumpstart on the holiday shopping season and festivities during the monthly Walkabout Tremont. Explore Tremont with art openings and extended art gallery hours across the neighborhood. Award-winning pet photographer Greg Murray will be hosting a book signing at Visible Voice Books. Most of the bars and restaurants will have drink and food specials, along with live music and performances.

Once Upon a Christmas Craft Show

It's never too early to start shopping for the holiday season. There will be over 100 vendors selling handmade soaps, candles, jewelry, art pieces and home decor. If you're a vendor, there is no space left in the 2017 market and the waiting list for the 2018 market is already growing.

When: Friday, November 10 from 3-9 p.m. through Saturday, November 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Mistletoe Market 2017

Shop until your drop and jingle all the way to your holiday shopping list with 50 local vendors and crafters offering things you probably can't find at your local big box stores.

2017 Annual Holiday Fair

Shop for special imported Czech and Slovak items at the Bohemian National Hall. Traditional Czech holiday foods such as strudel, dumplings and Czech beer will be available for purchase. On the lower level, authentic European dinners will be offered, along with two cash bars.

Cleveland West Art League Benefit and Tall Walls

Cleveland West Art League (CWAL), an organization supporting the indie art scene in Cleveland by providing collaborative opportunities, resources and education for artists in the Cleveland area, is hosting a benefit art exhibition at Negative Space. Members of CWAL were invited to submit their work for the annual unjuried, uncensored Tall Walls exhibition.

When: Friday, November 10 from 6-9 p.m and Saturday, November 11 from 7-9 p.m.

Fall Open Studios at Screw Factory Artists Loft

Get to know local artists and the work that they do at the November Fall Open Studios. This event brings together more than a dozen artists in one space to showcase and sell their work. There will also be a perishable food donation drive for the Lakewood Community Center.

Dinofest

The dinosaurs are roaring back to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. Children and family can come to the museum to get information about dinosaurs from the world's leading dinosaurs experts. Throughout the day, experts will speak on a variety of dinosaurs topics and activities such as digging for fossils and creating your own dinosaur species.

Play day at Cleveland Museum of Art

Kids and their family can celebrate the new Jazz Age exhibit at the Cleveland Museum of Art. There will be free art-making activities and programs for all ages.

The Scotch Tasting Experience at The 9

Escape the streets of downtown Cleveland and take a step down into the century-old bank vaults beneath the Cleveland Trust Rotunda for an upscale scotch tasting. Hor d' oeuvres will be paired with each scotch tastings.

Platform Brewery November Concert Series

Continuing their concert series, Platform Brewery has another great lineup of musicians, food and drinks. Old Brooklyn, M. Moody and The Dream Masons will be providing the music for the night. Rachael McPherson from the Cleveland Museum of Art will be providing art and City Grow Green Machine will keep your taste buds satisfied.

Scene Snow Day Bar Crawl 2017

Snowfall is coming to Northeast so Clevelanders may as well embrace it with a bar crawl. This bar crawl celebrates opening day at Breckenridge so get your lift ticket and ride through all the bars in the Flats East Bank. Tickets get you entered into a drawing for a chance to have two nights lodge at Shanty Creek Resorts and a chance to win a snowtrooper all mountain snowboard.

They Clam From Outer Space

The cold weather brings out the clambakes throughout the city. Terrestrial Brewery is hosting their first clambake with bloody marys and beer cocktails just in time for the Browns kickoff.

Beatles Brunch at Music Box Supper Club

Kozo Harvest 2017

The annual Kozo Harvest Fest, a festival celebrating the art of papermaking. The kozo, also called the paper mulberry tree, is the same type of tree harvested and transformed into paper each year at the Morgan Conservatory. The Morgan's Sam Caraboolad Garden is the largest kozo grove in the United States, providing the area with sustainable papermaking.
