Singer Chris Brown has scored a big legal victory after a Texas judge awarded him joint custody of his one-year-old daughter.
The Kiss Kiss hitmaker has been locked in a legal battle with model Nia Guzman over child support payments and custody of little Royalty, and on Friday, the pair's lawyers faced off in a Houston court.
Guzman had been seeking full custody of Royalty and supervised visits for Brown, but the judge decided the former lovers should share custody, with the child going back-and-forth between homes every four days.
The model was also asking for a big bump in child support, but the judge rejected her request to be awarded $15,000 -a-month and instead kept Brown's payments at $2,500.
In addition, Guzman was ordered to refrain from using social media to detail the case and banned from publicly criticizing Brown as a dad, according to TMZ.com.
