CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo announced Monday that it's extending the Asian Lantern Festival for two additional week through Aug. 11.
Initially, the festival was scheduled to end Sunday, July 28, but due to popular demand, the festival will now extend for two more weeks, Thursday through Sunday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Highlights from this year's festival include more than 40 all-new lantern displays such a walk-through 100-foot-long shark tunnel, interactive zones and Chinese pagodas.
Tickets are limited and visitors are encouraged to purchase tickets online to secure a spot.
Zoo members get discounted tickets for $15.50. For non-members, tickets are $18.50.
