CLEVELAND — It's what many of us have been working for all week: the bliss of the weekend. If you're looking to get out of the house this weekend and try something new, we've compiled some ideas so you can have a memorable and fun weekend exploring your city.

IngenuityFest 2019: Dreamscapes

Ingenuity festival is back with performances and interactive artistic projects that bring the best of art and technology together. Celebrating its 15th year making creative intersections of art, science, and technology accessible to all, Dreamscapes brings to life an entire fantasy, vividly imagined by our creative community for a city reawakened and renewed.

Ohio City Street Festival

A portion of West 25th Street turns into a festival featuring all the best food, drinks, retail and art the neighborhood has to offer. Interactive games, crafts and art performances will take place throughout the day.

The 14th Annual Hartville Fall Arts & Crafts Festival

The festival showcases more than 120 local vendors, handmade good, foods and crafts. There will be live music, food truck fare and inflatables for kids.

Tremont Arts and Cultural Festival

Featuring all the best artistic and performing art endeavors in Tremont and Greater Cleveland, the festival highlights cultural diversity. There will be special performances from the Art in Motion Dance Academy, New Genesis (a hip-hop and poetry duo) and burlesque and drag performances.

Meet and feed alpacas

If you love animals, particularly alpacas, this event is for you. Majestic Meadows Alpacas in Medina is celebrating their one-year anniversary with an opportunity for the public to meet, feed and hangout with alpacas. The anniversary event will coincide with National Alpaca Farm Days. On Sept. 28 and 29, alpaca owners nationwide will invite the public to come to their farm or ranch to meet their alpacas and learn more about these inquisitive, unique animals, the luxury fiber they produce and why the alpaca business is perfect for environmentally-conscious individuals.
