The first weekend of November in Northeast Ohio is off to a busy start with a diverse range of events celebrating music, the arts and food.
MIX at Cleveland Museum of Art
In honor of Cleveland Museum of Art's exhibition" The Jazz Age: American Style in the 1920s" the museum's lobby will turn into a jazz tribulation filled with specialty cocktails and music and style synonymous of the Jazz Age. If you plan on attending, attire reminiscent of flappers, mobsters and crooners are encouraged.

A Saturday at the art museum is always a good idea. As part of the first Saturday of every month, MOCA will hosts free adult tours of the museum and an open art studio with hands-on art making and creative experimenting for all ages.

Circle Neighbors: Lost Cleveland
Have you ever wanted to make beer at home but are intimated by the process? The Cleveland Brew Shop is offering a beginner beer making class. The class includes a beer tasting and sandwiches from Herb' n Twine.

As the holiday season approaches, indoor flea markets are taking root in Northeast Ohio. One of the first flea markets of the season, The Berea Flea Market will have over 100 vendors offering vintage and antique items, crafts and new items. Rain or shine, peruse three buildings to find the perfect gift!

Punk guitarist turned trained yogi, Paramananda, is teaching yoga and meditation at a fun, empowering workshop. All levels are welcome to learn about breathing techniques, chanting and stories about devotion.

Each month, Summit Artspace features pop-up shops from local artists and musicians adding their melodies to a creative environment. Artists will be in their studios to discuss with visitors their own work, with some of them creating art in front of visitors. The galleries on the first and third floor will be open for viewing.

DJ Night at Happy Dog at the Euclid Tavern
Join Cleveland DJs as they spin all night long from the Euclid Tavern Stage. The bar will be serving wings and nachos for the night. There will be an eclectic mix of musical genres and sounds.

Chug and run is the motto of this event. Participants can sign up individually or as a team. Each competitor drinks four cans of beer and will run four laps around the 400-meter course. Participants will get an official t-shirt and a medal bottle opener. This event is BYOB so pick your favorite!

It's Sunday Funday! Local drag performers, comedians and talent acts will all compete for the prize basket of potpourri and other donated gifts. Audience members will vote on the winner. For $20, there will be unlimited mimosas and bloody marys to sip on during the show.
