The Los Angeles home owned by Dr. Dre was the target of an attempted burglary on Tuesday — the same night the legendary rapper was hospitalized with a brain aneurysm, according to KABC-TV in Los Angeles and Entertainment Tonight.

KABC, citing police sources in Los Angeles, reported that suspects attempted to breach Dr. Dre’s Brentwood home at around 10 p.m. local time on Tuesday, but were not able to get inside.

Entertainment Tonight reports that police responded to the home and spotted four people hiking in the woods near the house. Later, KABC says that officers saw those four take off in an SUV. After a short chase, the four people were taken into custody. It’s unclear if any of the four taken into custody were charged with a crime.

KABC also reports that police initially thought the suspect may have been attempting to breach the nearby home of vice president-elect Kamala Harris before determining that Dr. Dre’s home was the target.

TMZ reported Tuesday night that Dr. Dre had been rushed to a local Los Angeles hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm. Deadline later confirmed TMZ’s report.

Later on Tuesday, Dr. Dre posted on Instagram that he is “doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team.” He added that he will be “out of the hospital and back home soon.”
