The Greenhouse Tavern was closed until the evening on Tuesday as the restaurant prepared for guests to enjoy viewing Chef Jonathon Sawyer compete on a new season of Chopped on the Food Network.
Team Sawyer said Chef Sawyer has worked in restaurants since he was 13. Though he went to engineering school, he later left and went to culinary school. Sawyer is also the chef and owner of Trentina on Ford Drive and Noodlecat on Euclid Avenue.
The Chopped Grill Masters watch party doors will open at 6 p.m. and the show will air at 10 p.m. The restaurant is located at 2038 E. 4th St.
Attendees will be able to enjoy a Q&A with Sawyer and Chef Ashley Pado, corporate chef at Certified Angus Beef, after the viewing.
Tickets are $50.
