Police investigating robbery at a fast food restaurant in Akron

AKRON, Ohio — Police are looking for a man who robbed a fast-food restaurant in Akron on Tuesday.

Around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a robbery call at a fast-food restaurant in the 1200 block of Copley Road.

According to the Akron Police Department, when they arrived, the employee said the man walked up to the drive-thru window and placed an order. The man then lifted his shirt, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the register. The employee complied and gave the man an undisclosed amount of money.

A specific description of the man was not available, except for an age range of 18-23 years old.
