Armed male robs Warrensville Hts. First Merit

An armed male robbed the First Merit Bank at 4834 Richmond Road in Warrensville Heights Monday at around 10 a.m., according to the FBI.  

The teller gave the suspect money after the suspect pointed a semiautomatic handgun at a customer and then the teller and demanded money from the teller.
 
The suspect fled the bank on foot, heading north on Richmond Road and to the rear of the bank.
 
No injuries were reported.
 
The suspect wore a bandana over his face, dark sunglasses, a gray hooded sweatshirt, white gloves, and blue jeans.
 
Reward money is being offered for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individual or individuals responsible for the robbery.
 
Tips can be given anonymously to the Cleveland division of the FBI or the Warrensville Heights Police Department, according to the FBI.
