This briefing comes a day after DeWine tested negative after an initial positive result from a test he took in Cleveland as protocol to greet President Donald Trump in Cleveland on Thursday.

DeWine, his wife First Lady Fran DeWine, and members of his staff took a test that evening that tested negative for COVID-19.

A spokesman for DeWine said they feel confident in the results from the Wexner Medical Center.

The governor and his wife will be testing again for the virus on Saturday.
