Delta Airlines pauses flights out of Akron-Canton Airport due to pandemic

AKRON, Ohio — Delta Airlines is temporarily suspending flights out of Akron-Canton Airport and 15 others across the country due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The airline released the following statement:

At this time we do not have a date to resume service to these markets. We are continuously monitoring demand trends and are rebuilding our network as demand resumes.”

These are the other airports across the country that they are also suspending flights at:

  • Aspen, Colorado.
  • Bangor, Maine.
  • Erie, Pennsylvania.
  • Flint, Michigan.
  • Fort Smith, Arkansas.
  • Lincoln, Nebraska.
  • Manchester, New Hampshire.
  • New Bern, North Carolina.
  • Newburgh/Stewart, New York.
  • Newport News/Williamsburg, Virginia.
  • Peoria, Illinois.
  • Santa Barbara, California.
  • Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pennsylvania.
  • Williston, North Dakota.
  • Worcester, Massachusetts.
