HURON, Ohio — Two Northeast Ohio bars were cited by agents from the Ohio Investigative Unit for violating health orders Thursday.

Agents cited Kokomos at the Keys in Huron for improper conduct-disorderly activity. Agents arrived at the bar at around 8:40 p.m. and observed patrons closely together.

Patrons were seen occupying consecutive seats with other patrons standing behind them.

Agents noted little to no social distancing measures were in place.

In Kirtland, agents responded to The Well at around 7:45 p.m. and found approximately 20 patrons inside with little to no social distancing measure or physical barriers in place.

The Well was issued a citation for improper conduct-disorderly activity.

The cases will go before the Ohio Liquor Control Commission for potential penalties, including fines and suspension of permits.
