NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio — University Hospital's North Ridgeville Health Center is shutting down its Emergency Room for roughly 60 days, according to North Ridgeville Mayor Kevin Corcoran.
In a Facebook post, Corcoran says the President of St. John's Westshore told him the hospital needs to reallocate staff and equipment, like ventilators, to other emergency rooms due to Coronavirus.
"I have communicated my concerns and displeasure to Tom Zenty, the CEO of University Hospitals. I will keep an eye on this as we move forward," Corcoran said.
