BEACHWOOD, Ohio — This week's Trip Up Trent segment went back to the Joseph and Florence Mandel Jewish Day School in Beachwood.

Mikalah, a student at Mandel JDS, wanted to know why meteorologists are wrong so often. Trent responded by saying that it's all about how accurate you want us to be. Take this week for example. We were only 2-3 inches off on snowfall for a half of a county.

That's not too bad considering everything involved in forecasting weather events.

Plus, it's OK to make mistakes, as long as you learn. Trent goes back through every forecast and storm setup to learn what went wrong or what went right. Getting better... that's the goal, right?
