CLEVELAND — A 32-year-old man died Wednesday night in Cleveland after being shot on the city’s East Side.
According to Cleveland police, the shooting happened around 10:40 p.m. in the 1600 block of East 93rd Street in the city’s Hough neighborhood.
After arriving, officers gave the man first aid until Cleveland EMS arrived. The man was then transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The man’s name has not been released.
Nearby residents told officers that they heard gunshots and saw a light-colored SUV leaving the area, police said. Authorities are working to determine if the vehicle was involved.
No arrests have been made.
The matter remains under investigation.
