AKRON, Ohio — Akron police are investigating the shooting of a 13-year-old boy.
Police said the shooting happened around 6:45 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Milton Street.
The teenager told police he was walking with a group of friends, when two people got out of a car and fired shots.
Police said the teenager was struck at least once.
He was transported to Akron Children's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
