AKRON, Ohio — Two men were arrested Wednesday night for allegedly robbing a Little Caesar’s Pizza in Akron at gunpoint.

The robbery happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of East Avenue.

When police responded to the scene, they spotted two men running from the restaurant. Officers intercepted the first suspect, Da’Jaun Harvey, 19, when he ran around to the back of the building, according to police. He was arrested without incident. During the arrest, police found a handgun on him.

The second suspect, Jalin Butler, 20, was arrested after a police K9 unit tracked him down in the backyard of a residence in the 1200 block of Florida Avenue, police said. A handgun was seized during Butler’s arrest.

Harvey and Butler have both been charged with aggravated robbery. They are scheduled to appear in court on Saturday.
