AKRON, Ohio — Two young Akron residents set up a lemonade stand Thursday for a good cause, according to the Akron Police Department.
Ashlynn and Summer decided to set up a lemonade stand to raise money for the Akron Police Department K9 Unit, police said.
The girls sold their fresh lemonade for 50 cents a glass— and sold quite a few glasses.
By the end of their lemonade sale, the two girls had raised $150. Their parents accompanied them and delivered a check to the Akron Police Department, according to police.
