SUGAR CREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Authorities are investigating what appears to be a homicide/suicide that happened in Stark County Saturday morning.
At around 10:34 a.m., deputies responded to 10871 Dolphin Street SW in Sugar Creek Township after receiving a 911 call.
Once at the residence, authorities found Monica Merry, 54, of Beach City, and Carl Simmons, 66, also of Beach City, deceased inside.
The sheriff's office said the incident appears to be "domestic-related."
No additional information has been released.
