AKRON, Ohio — A 20-year-old woman is in serious condition following a shooting in Akron’s Lane-Wooster neighborhood Tuesday night.
Officers responded to the area of Diana and Bisson avenues for a shots fired call. Police said that two cars and two houses in the 900 block of Diana Avenue were hit in the shooting.
While police were working in the area, they were notified about a woman who was just dropped off at the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the neck, authorities said.
The woman was last listed in serious condition, according to authorities.
No one else was hurt in the shooting. No arrests have been made.
