The woman's identity has not been released.
According to police, the crash happened around 2:30 a.m. near East Waterloo Road and Sunset Avenue.
Authorities say the woman was driving a 2002 Ford Escape and heading east on East Waterloo Road when she lost control of the car, struck a curb and then hit a tree.
