An Akron pizza delivery driver was robbed Thursday night but instead of taking the employee's money, the suspect simply demanded the food.
The incident happened around 8 p.m. at an apartment on the 1100 block of Tarson Terrace.
The driver works for Chip's Pizza, police said.
The driver was taking an order of three pizzas, four dozen wings and two liters of soda to an upstairs apartment when he was approached by a man who threatened to shoot him if he didn't hand over the food, police said.
The driver handed everything over to the suspect, ran away and then called the police.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Akron police at 330-375-2552.
