AKRON, Ohio — A dog who has spent three years at an Akron rescue will now have to be boarded after her foster family's house caught fire.

The family won't be able to get back into their home for at least six months, which means Luna the dog has no place to stay.

Uno's Happy Endings Rescue pulled Luna from a Columbus dog shelter in 2016 where she was slated to get euthanized.

The rescue is foster based, which means they have no shelter to let her stay in.

Luna is a pitbull mix and weighs around 70 pounds. She is between four and five years old.

She does well with children of all ages and most cats. She doesn't like other dogs as much.

Luna's adoption fee is $200.

The rescue is located in Akron, but they are willing to transport most places.
