A 35-year-old man is facing murder charges in connection with a deadly shooting at a Canton bar earlier this week.
Police announced Thursday that charges had been filed against Anitaun Auzzene Harris for the murder of Leandous Harvey.
The shooting happened at Hooch's Pub on Cleveland Avenue SW around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Later that day, police learned that Harris was staying with a woman at the Hillview Apartments near the 1800 block of 6th Street NE.
U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force officers surrounded the building and knocked on the door of the apartment where he was believed to be staying.
Harris then surrendered without incident. A gun was found in the apartment.
He was charged with murder and having weapons under disability.
