AKRON, Ohio — Authorities in Summit County are investigating a homicide after a 25-year-old man was found shot on Saturday morning in Akron.
The shooting happened at around 4:10 a.m. in the 2300 block of Romig Road.
The victim was inside a vehicle in the parking lot of a business when he was shot by unknown suspect(s).
Police said the victim was involved in an altercation inside of the business prior to the shooting.
The victim was transported to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center, where he died from injuries at 11:45 a.m.
The victim’s identity will be released pending positive identification.
