AKRON, Ohio — An employee inside an Akron food truck was pistol-whipped during a robbery Friday night, according to police.
At around 11:30 p.m, employees of the Hibachi Ninja Express food truck, 1455 Copley Road, reported a man wearing a mask and armed with a handgun, entered the food truck. He demanded the employees get down on the floor.
The robber pistol-whipped one of the employees and took an unreported amount of money.
The robber fled in an unknown direction.
