CANTON, Ohio — A pop-up site is coming to Canton on Monday, free of charge to anyone looking to get a COVID-19 test.

The pop-up testing site is part of the Ohio Department of Health’s efforts to increase testing to better control the virus and mitigate the spread.

On June 29, the Ohio Department of Health will be at My Community Health Center located at 1400 Sherrick Rd. SE in Canton from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

No appointment is needed and anyone can walk-in and receive a test. A doctor’s referral is not required either, according to the Ohio Department of Health.

Testing quantities may be limited.

The state said it will announce more pop-up COVID-19 testing locations across the state soon.
