Jackson police investigating shooting stemming from dispute at Christie's Cabaret that left 1 injured

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Jackson Police Department is investigating after a dispute inside an adult entertainment club led to a shooting inside the establishment, and another outside of the establishment that left one person injured.

Around 1:42 a.m., officers responded to Christie’s Cabaret in the 4400 block of Everhard Road in Jackson Township for reports of a large fight.

Once on scene, officers learned that an unidentified suspect had fired multiple shots into the ceiling while at the establishment.

Police said no one was struck by gunfire inside of Christie's Cabaret, but it was later learned a gunshot victim was transported to Mercy Medical Center by a friend after being shot outside of the establishment.

The location of the shooting has not yet been determined but police are investigating it as an ongoing dispute that began at Christie’s Cabaret.

The shooting remains under investigation.
