AKRON, Ohio — Four people assaulted a 57-year-old man in Akron Tuesday night when he refused to pay them to sleep in a city park.
According to Akron police, the incident happened around 9 p.m. at Grace Park.
After entering the park, the man was approached by four individuals "who told him he had to pay them to sleep in the park," authorities said.
When he refused, the group attacked him and took his phone and money.
Police have not provided a specific description of the attackers.
Authorities have not made any arrests.
