AKRON, Ohio — A construction worker's body was recovered from a sewer in Akron Saturday morning, according to Akron police.
Authorities said the body was located at approximately 8 a.m. near West Exchange and Water streets. The Akron Fire Department's Technical Rescue Team responded to the scene and recovered the body.
The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the worker as 50-year-old Kennith F. Snyder.
The medical examiner says an autopsy has been completed and the manner and the cause of death is pending at this time.
