Nothing suspicious was found after a bomb threat was called in to University of Akron Friday morning.
The threat was called into the university's physical facilities operations center at 7:45 a.m.
University of Akron police searched the area with the help of specially trained dogs.
Nothing suspicious was found. The building remains open and classes will be held as usual.
Police are now working to determine who called in the threat. Should anyone have information that would help the police, call them at 330-972-2911 or submit a tip confidentially by texting it to 274637 (CRIMES) and begin the message with the keyword ZIPTIP.
