AKRON, Ohio — A person has died after a house fire in Akron.
The fire happened in the 1100 block of Hancock Avenue.
Firefighters said when they arrived, they were met with heavy conditions.
One person was transported to a local hospital and another was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
