One person was killed in a crash in Akron early Friday.
The crash happened on Tallmadge Avenue around 3:30 a.m.
Witnesses said the car, a white Mercedes-Benz E350, was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control, hitting a utility pole and then a building. The victim, a 25-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed while crews worked to remove the car.
The victim's identity has not yet been released.
