CANTON, Ohio — An argument over a gift card led to a shooting at a gas station in Canton Wednesday night.
The shooting happened just before 10 p.m. in the 100 block of Raff Road SW, according to Canton police.
Police responded to the gas station after receiving reports of a person shot. When officers arrived, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities said that while on scene, they learned two people had been in the parking lot arguing over a gift card and shots were fired. The shooter fled in a green truck before police arrived.
