Route 8 is back open in both directions after a crash involving a semi truck and at least one other car.
The crash closed all lanes of Route 8 in Akron between East Tallmadge Avenue and Perkins Street early Wednesday.
It took crews several hours to clean up the area.
The truck hit the center wall in the southbound lanes of the road on the high level bridge that spans the Little Cuyahoga River.
A hazmat team had to be called to clean up diesel fuel that spilled.
