Two 16-year-old boys were robbed of their cigarettes and marijuana Saturday morning.
Police said the teens were walking in the 1200 block of Atwood Avenue just before noon when they were robbed.
They told police that two other teenagers walked up behind them. One of the suspects grabbed one of the victims around the neck and stuck something — possibly a gun — against his lower back.
The suspect demanded that the teen empty his pockets. The victim gave the suspect two grams of marijuana.
The second suspect then took a pack of cigarettes from the other 16-year-old.
Police said one of the suspects threatened to shoot the teens before they both fled on foot.
Akron police said the underage boys would not be charged for possessing the marijuana and cigarettes.
