Two people were found by Summa police outside Akron City Hospital suffering from an apparent heroin overdose late Wednesday.
According to Akron police, an officer for Summa Akron City Hospital found the two people unresponsive and partially hanging out of their SUV along North Forge Street just a few hundred feet from the entrance to the hospital emergency room.
Akron police said they along with the hospital police administered Narcan to both people as they awaited EMS.
Both people were taken by Akron fire to the emergency room for treatment.
The SUV was properly parked at a metered spot on North Forge Street.
No word on the conditions of either person.
