AKRON, Ohio — Startling home surveillance footage shows two men enter break into an Akron home at gunpoint before robbing the resident.
The break-in happened Thursday morning around 9 a.m. in the 200 block of Noble Avenue.
The video shows the men come through a kitchen door. Both of the men were wearing masks. One of the men can be seen wielding a handgun as he walks through the kitchen.
According to Akron police, after leaving the kitchen, the robbers head upstairs and confront the tenant. The men threatened the tenant and then took her phone, purse and television.
Another family member called police after the robbers fled.
A K9 led officers to a nearby vacant house where police said they found the victim’s belongings. The two men were nowhere to be seen.
