AKRON, Ohio — Akron Police are investigating a fatal shooting.
The shooting happened around 2:15 a.m. Sunday in the 2200 block of Maryland Avenue.
When police arrived, they found a woman with a gunshot wound.
She was transported to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center, where she later died.
It is unknown if any arrests have been made.
