AKRON, Ohio — Calling all parents!
Children's YouTube sensation Blippi is going on tour and headed to Akron. However, as parents have discovered, Blippi will be portrayed by an actor and not Stevin John, the creator of the character who "acts as the writer and creative force behind the Blippi character," according to the event listing on the Akron Civic Theater website.
Blippi's first tour will provide an interactive experience that's family-friendly.
The tour will be in town on March 1, 2020 at the Akron Civic Theater.
Tickets go on sale Oct. 11, 2019.
