A beach hazard statement has been issued from Lorain County to Erie County, Pennsylvania until Tuesday evening.

There will be a high swimming risk due to a combination of wind and large waves, including rip currents and longshore currents. The hazard may extend through Tuesday night.

These risks can cause life-threatening conditions to anyone in the water, including good swimmers.
