CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating after a man was killed on Cleveland's east side.
The shooting happened around 2:15 p.m. at a gas station in the 3900 block of Community College Avenue.
Police said a man attempted to enter the gas station, and after he was denied entry, showed a handgun and left. A 53-year-old grabbed a handgun and began to follow the man.
The man turned around and fired multiple shots, striking a 37-year-old man and a 55-year-old man, according to police.
Police said when they arrived, they found the 37-year-old man unresponsive with a gun shot wound to the chest.
He was transported to Metro Hospital, where he later died.
The 55-year-old man was transported to Metro Hospital with unknown conditions.
The 53-year-old man had no injuries.
No arrests have been made.
